Michael Finnegan is an Army veteran, freelance filmmaker, photojournalist and documentarian from New Haven, Connecticut and owner of Film Haven Productions LLC. He studied film and journalism at Southern Connecticut State University and The Institute of Advance Media in Hartford Connecticut. He enjoys every minute of telling stories visually. He has fallen in love with the art of visual storytelling and documentary production. Moreover, he is truly inspired by the stories of people and the social issues we face day to day. David Trapasso was an artist at a very young age. In high school, his teacher Mr. Vansteenburg, inspired him to go to college for video production. Since that day he has been building a demo reel full of narrative, experimental, documentary, commercial, music videos and motion graphics. Onirico, one of his shorts, won an award for best experimental at SCUFF, Southern Connecticut University Film Festival in 2015.
Albert Silva Sr. is an Air Force veteran, biologist, film maker, medic and real estate investor from Los Angeles, California. He has a masters degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Biology. Albert’s training in the field of science informs his facility with sound design.
Connor Etter is a filmmaker who has a passion for telling good stories whether it’s documentaries or narratives. Growing up, Conner was a fan of James Cameron films, such as Terminator and Titanic. Cameron continues to inspire Conner with his ability to portray human emotion in film. Connor attended Southern Connecticut State University and studied video production.
Tina Lourenco Lang brings an eclectic range of skills to the Third Act crew. With a degree in psychology and a masters in social work, Tina has spent 25 years servicing children and families in Connecticut. Tina is currently working in arts and entertainment as manager for her daughter, performer Chloe Lang. Tina handles many aspects of Chloe’s career including producing music videos , fundraising, costume creation and office management. Tina is thrilled to be a part of The Third Act as the films script supervisor.
Gary has a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable, effective and focused sales and business development executives in any arena. His breadth of experience and industry-wide credibility has landed him across the table closing deals with important business partners including Apple, Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Wal-Mart and dozens of other innovative companies. Gary focuses on managing high-level relationships with decision makers in retail, e-commerce, entertainment media and consumer electronics and beyond. Geller has had a diverse entertainment and marketing career. In 1985 he co-founded Effanel Music, America’s premier mobile recording company. He remained active in Effanel and orchestrated the sale of the company to XM Radio in 2004. Building on relationships developed through Effanel, Geller branched out and began producing nationally syndicated live radio concerts for NBC “The Source” including such artists as Santana, Cyndi Lauper, The Judds, and much more. He also managed high profile international tours for such artists as The Rolling Stones, Living Colour, Van Halen, The Sex Pistols, George Benson, Kenny Loggins, David Sanborn, and Al Jarreau, among others.
Stephen is a screenwriter, producer, and playwright. He has worked on the films “Black Mail” and “Natural Born Crazies” as a producer. As a playwright, his play Like a Virginwas a semi-finalist in the 2016 Aery 20/20 festival in Garrison, New York. His one-act play “The Great Thing About Me” was performed this past summer in the production “Shooting Stars” at Axial Theater/ HMActing. He is frequently commissioned by actors to create comedic monologues and material.
